Call for Submissions: ‘These Are the Hands’
An NHS Poetry Anthology with Michael Rosen
Open now – until 14th September 2019
This is a unique opportunity to see your work published in an exciting new poetry collection.
The aim is to give a voice and reflect the experiences of NHS staff and celebrate their creativity and talent, while at the same time raising money to support the NHS.
Winning entrants will have their work published in an anthology book, ‘These Are The Hands’ published by Fair Acre Press, foreword by Michael Rosen and including poems by leading UK poets including Michael Rosen, Roger McGough, Lemn Sissay, Kate Clanchy, Molly Case and Sabrina Mahfouz. The book will be widely available in UK bookshops and online including Amazon.
All proceeds from the sale of the book will go to NHS Charities Together, supporting over 100 NHS charities.
Winning contributors will also be invited to a ceremony and book launch event at the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries.
