Matthew Oates: Times’ Nature columnist, the National Trust’s National Specialist on Nature, Purple Emperor butterfly expert, radio and TV broadcaster; Matthew’s new book Beyond Spring: Wanderings through Nature (Fair Acre Press) is launched at the festival – a unique book for the winter months.
Mary Colwell: award winning TV, radio, internet producer – including Natural Histories, Shared Planet and Saving Species; author of John Muir: The Scotsman Who Saved America’s Wild Places; she recently walked the width of Britain to highlight the plight of the Curlew; The Curlew Walk – 500 miles for the new moon bird is out in 2018.
Brett Westwood: award-winning producer, naturalist, presenter – including Natural Histories, Tweet of the Day, Brett Westwood’s Diaries; consultant, and Red Button presenter for Springwatch and Autumnwatch; co-author with Stephen Moss – including Wonderland.
