The answer is a resounding YES – but only with the help of those who are ready to champion it.
It’s a voting popularity contest – to encourage reading of the books and championing small publishers.
Click on here to quickly register on their website and then you can vote VOTING IS OPEN UNTIL 31 AUGUST. They will want your name and email address, then they immediately send you an email to confirm you’re registered and this email gives you a new password so make a note/ copy this – then click on the blue The Peoples Book Prize … its simple from then on 🙂 and has taken me 2 minutes to vote and leave a comment for one book)
Any review or award that these books receive increases their profiles, opens opportunities up for the authors, and potentially increase Fair Acre Press’ chances of obtaining funding for future publications and public projects – so I would really appreciate you considering voting for one/ any/ all of them. Thanks, Nadia x
They are already doing wonderfully well –
Lisa’s Sitting Ducks has reviews from Contemporary Small Press, The Press Association, New Welsh Review, and the prestigious The Writes of Woman;
Emma will be on stage with Carol Ann Duffy at the Manchester Children’s Book Awards with other opportunities opening up while I once knew a poem who wore a hat has reached Uganda with marathon man Louis Munro racing on 5th June and carrying 30 copies to the local children;
Andy’s Wilderland: Wildlife and Wonder from the Shropshire Borders is reviewed in 2nd June’s Amateur Photographer, and 11th Junes Outdoor Photographer, his pictures are in the major newspapers and one even featured out of 50,000 images from their flickr page on Springwatch Unsprung this week, and got a compliment from Chris Packham ( a hare peeping out of bluebells)
