We have had happy news this week – that Lisa Blower’s Sitting Ducks is on the longlist for Not The Booker prize, which is run by The guardian, online. The book is in good company – along with the most recent books by such heavyweights as Julian Barnes, Don DeLillo, Kei Miller, Sarah Perry, China Miéville and Lionel Shriver Go here to see what it’s all about and to vote🙂
The deadline is 14th August 2016 (at midnight) – so if you enjoyed the book and would like to see it on their shortlist then please don’t dally!
All you do is follow the link – and add to their comments boxes (it will ask for your email and a password) put the words Vote Sitting Ducks, Lisa Blower, Fair Acre at the top so their search counts it, and then you write approx 100 words or more on why you like the book.
There are also plenty of other books to vote for – and in fact they’d like two votes from each person.
And you may be offered the chance to be one of the final judges if they think your comments are insightful and amusing, it says!
